The popularity of basketball in the Valley was again reflected in the large turnouts of boys and girls for the annual Dragon hoops camps, which took place under the direction of Sonoma Valley High School girls’ varsity hoops coach Sil Coccia in the SVHS Pfeiffer Gym.
A variety of sports camps, clinics and programs continue in the Valley throughout the summer and can be found in Sports Briefs on page A10 and on the Index-Tribune’s website at sonomanews.com.
