The list of Republican policy disasters is long and ongoing. Deregulation of banks and Wall Street put us in the ditch.
Absurd tax policies help create an out of control deficit. Their latest is thinly disguised racism. Surely no one with a name like Barack Obama could be an American. He must be a secret Muslim.
Truth be told, he has a black skin and that sticks in the craw of many of our "birther" Republicans. Get over it folks. He will be re-elected in 2012.

While not disagreeing about your first sentence, the issue of racism that has been so thinly disguised with the 'birthers' began in a great part with Democrats whose very vocal so-called skepticism of Obama's citizenship started during the '08 campaigns. A certain Linda Starr, a rabid supporter of Ms Clinton, has been very open about her efforts to bring the whole foolishness into the national scene just to bring him down. Philip Berg, another Democrat and an attorney to boot, has dreamed up one scenario after another in his quest to derail the Prez. Nutjobbery and racism aren't the sole parish of Republicans, to think otherwise is taking your eye off the ball.
