Geraldine Raffo

Geraldine Raffo, born Dec. 25, 1944, entered into rest July 1, 2011.

Geraldine was a beloved wife, mother, Nonna and friend. Gerry passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after more than a decade of battling cancer.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert Raffo; her children, Erika (Ken) Roberts, Ernesto Raffo and Monica (Jason) Johnson; her grandchildren, Gemma and Will Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elrose Jorgensen and Russell Moller; step-father Vernon Jorgensen; brother, Thomas Moller; and sister Dolores (Sis) Baur.

Gerry was born and raised in Petaluma. She attended Healds College in San Francisco and worked for many years as a bookkeeper. Her children were her pride and joy and she was delighted to be a grandmother in recent years. She was an excellent cook and was well-known for her bountiful dinner table. Whenever there was a need, Gerry was there to help. We will remember her for her warm, generous nature and her kind heart.

A celebration of life will be held at 6955 Petersen Road, Petaluma on Saturday, July 16, at 1 p.m.
