George was a great man. Growing up in the Valley during the 50's & 60's I looked upon all of our Dads as a collective group. My Friend's Dads had as much authority to me as my own. For that I will always cherish the era in which I grew up. George's generation is what made up "The Greatest Generation. Their service and sacrifice put this nation on a firm unshakeable foundation. They came home after the war, rolled up their sleeves and went to work. Worked hard, raised their families and tried to give their children a better life than they experienced growing up during the depression. George was a Man that I looked up to and admired. Driving M. Brocco & Sons trucks for many years and especially the thousands(?) of hours he gave to the community as a volunteer of the V.O.M. George set the example and is the stuff hero's are made of. Noble, humble, hard working, responsible and kind. Men like George helped toward giving us the safe and secure world we enjoyed growing up in the Sonoma Valley during the 50's and 60's. Rest well George! To summarize your life; Well Done My Friend"!
