Genevieve Mary Constantine

Genevieve Mary Constantine, died May 5, 2011, at home in Walnut Creek. She was the wife of the late Alfred Constantine; mother of Nadine Wright, of Concord; grandmother of Jason and Jennifer; and great-grandmother of Alex and Annamaja.

Genevieve was a kindergarten teacher for 20 years with Oakland Public School District and at Mary Magdaleine Parochial School. She was a past president of Berkeley Chapter of C.S.F.A. auxiliary; a former member of N.D.G.W., Sequoia Parlor, Berkeley; a member of the California Retired Teachers Association; as well as the National Education Association. She was a former resident of Sonoma, current resident of Walnut Creek and a native of Berkeley. She was able to actively enjoy her later years.

A visitation will be held on Monday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Duggan's Mission Chapel. Friends are invited to a funeral Mass at St. Francis Solano Church, 469 Third St. W., Sonoma, CA 95476 on Monday, May 16, 2011, at 1 p.m.

Entombment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
