Gen. Joseph Hooker discussed

 The speaker at the general meeting of the Sonoma Valley Historical Society, set for Friday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m., will be local historian Peter Meyerhof.

 Meyerhof will talk about the colorful life of Joseph Hooker with special emphasis about his time in Sonoma and Agua Caliente. Hooker later became a major general for the Union arm during the Civil War. 

 The meeting will be held at the Depot Park Museum, 270 First St. W.
