The sun was blazing and so were the racecars on Sunday afternoon at Infineon Raceway, where Kurt Busch took the early lead in the Toyota/Save Mart 350 and never gave it up, while holding off rival Jeff Gordon and a rash of wrecks to navigate his No. 22 Dodge to both his first-ever NASCAR road-course win and victory at Infineon.

Rounding out the top-10 finishers after the triumphant Busch in the challenging 110-lap, 219-mile Toyota/Save Mart 350 race were Gordon (Chevrolet), Carl Edwards (Ford), Clint Bowyer (Chevrolet), Marcos Ambrose (Ford), Joey Logano (Toyota), defending-champion Jimmie Johnson (Chevrolet), Martin Truex Jr. (Toyota), Kevin Harvick (Chevrolert), and Brad Keselowski (Dodge).
