Florence M Paquin

Florence M. Paquin, passed away in Roseburg, Ore., on Jan. 27, 2011.

Born in Oklee, Minn., in the summer of 1913, Florence married Abraham Paquin in 1939, a union which lasted until Abe's death 56 years later.

In 1956, the family moved to Kenwood and Florence began teaching at Dunbar Elementary School. She continued there for more than 20 years.

Florence was a loving mother and also an excellent gardener; Kenwood neighbors often shared the bounty.

She was active in her church, St. Luke Lutheran, and looked forward to her eternal home with Jesus, trusting God for the circumstances of her life and finally her death.

Preceded in death by son, Donald, Florence is survived by a son, Carl, and his, wife Sandra; daughter, Jen Burchell and her husband, Richard; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Paquin; grandchildren, Pete Burchell and his wife, LeighAnn; Seth, Capitola and Christopher Paquin; Marie and Rose Paquin; and great-grandsons, Richard and Owen Burchell.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, Franklin and Silva, Santa Rosa.
