First day at school

Summer doesn't officially end until the autumnal equinox on Sept. 23, but don't try to convince Sonoma Valley students that summer's not over. Wednesday was the first day of classes for students in the Sonoma Valley Unified School District, and Brenda Gluszek had a few last words for her son, 5-1/2-year-old Gabriel Lacagnina, as he started kindergarten at the Sonoma Charter School.
