Ferrari 458 Challenge highlights Infineon weekend, starts today

 

Warming up for its 2011 Big O Tires majors events season, beginning May 13 to 15 with West Coast Moto Jam AMA Pro Road Racing, Infineon Raceway welcomes the North American Ferrari Challenge Series for an exciting weekend starting today and continuing through tomorrow, Saturday, April 30, and Sunday, May 1.

Highlighting the action will be the North American debut of the new Ferrari 458 Challenge, the fifth and latest generation of Challenge cars, as well as the Corse Clienti Department’s 599XX, the FXX and F1 Clienti programs, and the Ferrari F430 Challenge.

Starting its 18th season, the Ferrari Challenge Series weekend will feature practice today, with qualifying and racing in all classes set for Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets are $20 each day, or $40 for a weekend pass, with spectators able to enjoy an open paddock area and the Ferrari-festival atmosphere. For more Ferrari Challenge information, visit www.ferrarichallenge.com.
