Edits changed meaning of my letter
To correct some errors which were made in my letter of Friday, Sept. 30, "Senseless to alert drunk drivers," in the third paragraph, last sentence, I wrote, and I quote, "I for one, do not want to share the roads/freeways with these drunken drivers ... let them walk or get a bicycle!" Instead this was printed as, "Let me walk or get a bicycle. This error completely changed the concept of what I wanted to put across.
I might also add, speaking of errors/changes, the very last paragraph in my letter read, "one more comment. I cannot help but wonder if Assemblyman Michael Allen has any young drivers in his family whom he should be teaching to drink sensibly?" When printed this was changed to read, in part, "I wonder if Asssemblyman Michael Allen has any young drivers in his family whom he should be teaching to drive sensibly?"
Thank you for allowing me to point out these errors.
