With two games remaining in the regular season, Sonoma Valley High School’s varsity football boys need at least one more win to qualify for the postseason, which enhances the importance of tonight’s Sonoma County League 7 p.m. showdown at longtime rival Petaluma’s Durst Field.
The Dragons – who end the regular season by hosting league foe Analy next Friday evening, Nov. 11 – are 4-4 overall, including a 1-3 mark in the tough SCL, with a team needing to have a winning or even record to qualify for the North Coast Section playoffs.
