Dragon gridders topple American Canyon

Sep 24, 2011 - 09:11 AM
Sonoma's Eric Clouse tries to corral a loose ball in Friday night's game against American Canyon. Because of a safety on the opening kickoff, the Dragons had a 2-0 lead before they even touched the ball. After a close first half, the Dragons finally got some breathing room in the second half and won 42-28. Chris Swanson caught two touchdown passes and Dan Deely ran for two touchdowns. The win gives the Dragons a 2-1 record in non-conference play. Sonoma travels to Elsie Allen on Friday to finish out their non-conference schedule.
