Dr. Hubenette earns fellowship award from AAC

The American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP) announced recently that Kimberly Q. Hubenette, DDS, of Sonoma, received the prestigious Fellowship Award during the AACP’s convocation ceremony held at the AACP’s Annual July meeting in Baltimore,. Dr. Hubenette accepted this award along with 25 recipients. 

Dr. Hubenette, was one of 25 dentists to receive the Fellowship Award, which is presented to dentists looking to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. In order to be eligible for this award, Dr. Hubenette completed 500 hours of continuing education in the related field, passed a comprehensive written exam and fulfilled over 10 years of active patient treatment cases reviewed by the AACP board of advisors.

As a recipient of this award, Dr. Hubenette has joined an elite group of members committed to providing exceptional patient care with those that suffer with chronic and oral facial pain related to temporal mandibular joint disease (TMD), neuralgias, headaches and their related conditions as they pertain to dentistry. 

 Dr. Kimberly Hubenette graduated from the University of Southern California Dental School in 1993. In 2010, she received her Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry, one of the most respected designations within the profession.  She also volunteers her time at University of the Pacific and University of California, San Francisco dental schools. When asked to comment about her achievements, she states, “I have a special interest in enhancing smiles with proper form and function in mind.  Having received this award allows me to educate my patients, and support their oral-body connection even further. Working with medical practitioners to achieve full body health ensures my patients can enjoy long, healthier lives.”
