Dorothy worked for a short time at Macy's, but spent most of her time as mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, a position in life she treasured. Family above and beyond all was the most sacred thing to her.

Dorothy enjoyed the numerous friends she had throughout the years, playing Bingo, gardening, her cats and dogs and talking about all the different things that had come and gone through her life. She loved watching old movies.
