Doobie Brothers to perform at BR Cohn

Vintner, philanthropist and music artist manager Bruce Cohn will put tickets on sale May 4 for the 25th annual B.R. Cohn Charity Events Fall Music Festival, Gala Charity Auction Dinner and the Celebrity Golf Classic.
“Time really flies by, I can’t believe the 25th year is here. It seems only yesterday that we were just doing our first event in 1986,” he said. “It promises to be a memorable weekend. The Doobies Brothers are returning for both days and we have invited most of the past performers to join us, so stay tuned for updates on artists performing. And I’m thrilled to have Chef Guy Fieri with us this year it will add another headliner to the weekend.”
Longtime music festival favorites, the Doobie Brothers, will perform both days of the concert weekend, Sept. 24 and 25. The full lineup of performers will be announced June 1. New for this year are special on-stage VIP seats that include a meet and greet with performers and fabulous food and wine, all while sitting feet from the performances. VIP ticket prices range from $350 to $1,000 and general admission tickets are $100.
This year’s festival will be held in the memory of Marty Cohn, Bruce Cohn’s brother who passed away in late March after a battle with cancer.
The popular and lively charity auction and dinner will be held Friday, Sept. 23, at the B.R. Cohn Winery’s 140-year old Olive Grove at 6 p.m. Joining the event for the first time as guest chef is celebrity food TV star and local restaurateur Guy Fieri. Fieri, known as one of the most popular chefs on television, will bring his signature excitement and energy to prepare the dinner paired with B.R. Cohn wines. He will also provide a dinner auction lot for bidding, a chance to join the set of his popular “Diners, Drive-in’s and Dives.” Tickets to the dinner are $150.

The celebrity golf tournament returns again to the famed Sonoma Golf Club and will be held on Monday, Sept 26. Tee-off is at 11 a.m. Green fees are $400 and a include a custom made olive wood putter from Musty Putters made from the 140-year old olive trees at B.R. Cohn Winery.
