Donald F. DuPont

Donald F. DuPont died at age of 81, quietly on Valentines Day, Feb. 14, 2011, in Santa Rosa.

He was born in San Francisco at Saint Mary's on Sept. 7, 1929, the son of Margaret Mary Kowskie DuPont and James Fred DuPont.

Donald F. DuPont is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Edelma Arce DuPont, and three children, Donald and wife, Judy; devoted daughter, Yvonne Kunde; and James and wife, Laura; sister, Joan I Fehman; uncle, Jack Kowskie and wife, Angie. He had 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by his eldest son Rudolph.

Don was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked as an upholsterer and furniture manufacturer for 40 years. He was a 44 -year resident of Sonoma and a native of San Francisco.

Join family and friends for a celebration of his life. A memorial service will be held at Duggan's Mission Chapel, 525 W. Napa St., Sonoma, on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at 1 p.m.

A private inurnment will be held at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, Sonoma.
