Dog licenses vs. speeding cars
Editor, Index-Tribune:
I live on the north end of Fourth Street East. I sit on my front porch for several hours each day. In front of my house is a sign that states the speed limit to be 25 mph. Each day, numerous cars exceed that limit by several degrees. I have never yet seen a police officer write a speeding ticket here.
But, a couple of days ago, the department sent two officers to my front porch to inquire of me as to why I have not renewed by dog license for Harvey, who has been dead for almost two years. “Just asking,” one officers said.
I have lived in Sonoma for 61 years and now I am aware of the police departments priorities.
