Contra dancing at Grange

  The series of community barn dances, also called contra dancing, continues on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Grange, 18627 Sonoma Highway.

  All are welcome, with no partner or experience needed to take part in the dancing. Caller Tom Thoreau will shout out the moves and dancers simply follow along. Live accordion music is provided by Art Peterson.

  Wear cool clothing and comfortable shoes that don't grip the floor too much.

  The cost is free for those under 21, with a $5 to $7 donation for the grange requested for guests 21 and up.
