Concert to aid dictionary project

  On Sunday evening, Nov. 13, the Kiwanis Club of Sonoma Plaza presents the jazz band Cloudfire in concert in the Barrel Room at the Jacuzzi Family Winery, 24724 Arnold Drive. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7:30.

  Cloudfire blends instrumental and rhythmic grooves that draw from jazz, tribal and funk.

  The concert will support the Kiwanis Club’s Dictionary Project. For more than 10 years, the Kiwanis Club has given a personalized, full color dictionary to every third-grader in Sonoma Valley.

  Tickets may be purchased at the Sonoma Community Center’s box office for $45 at www.sonomacommunitycenter.org or 938-4626, ext. 1. Each ticket includes dessert and the first glass of Jacuzzi wine.

  Sponsorship is also available ranging from $25 to $200, with all sponsors to be listed in the program. To arrange sponsorships, call 939-8456.
