Celebrating Cinco

Six-year-old Isabel Vega sits still while a butterfly is painted on her face Saturday at La Luz. La Luz hosted an early Cinco de Mayo celebration that raises money for college-bound high school seniors from donations and proceeds from raffle tickets and food. The annual poster contest supports art education, with the winners and runners recognized at the event.
