Burglary suspects nabbed
Two Napa men were arrested Saturday morning after a would-be duck hunter watched them break into his vehicle while it was in a parking lot on Ramal Road.
The man was scouting places for the upcoming duck season and when he returned to his vehicle at about 8:45 a.m. he saw the men break a window in his vehicle and gain entry.
Sgt. Chris Bertoli, with the Sheriff’s Valley substation, said the man called the sheriff’s office instead of trying to stop the thieves on his own.
Bertoli said the man hung back and let the incoming deputies know where the suspects, who were on foot, were headed.
Deputies from the Valley substation and Sonoma Police Department caught the pair.
Deputies arrested Daniel Candelario, 25, of Napa, and Ramon Zaragoza, 32, also of Napa, on charges of felony vehicular burglary. Candelario is also being charged with a parole violation.
