Bank of Marin Sonoma remodeling to begin

BANK OF MARIN Sonoma's branch remodeling plans received approval last week from the City of Sonoma. Work is scheduled to begin soon.

 

Bank of Marin Bancorp received unanimous approval by the Sonoma Design Revision Commission last week for the design of its new branch located at 136 W. Napa St. in downtown Sonoma.

The bank will begin construction on the new office in May with plans to open in late summer.

The bank is currently operating in Sonoma and seeing customers by appointment at an interim location at 255 W. Napa St., one block from the new branch.

"We are very excited by the positive response we received from the Sonoma Design Revision Commission and appreciate the warm welcome to the community," said Marck Zuehlsdorff, Sonoma branch manager. "We look forward to serving the needs of our customers and this great community from our new home."

To make an appointment with Bank of Marin at their temporary Sonoma branch, customers may call 933-3750.
