Aloha Ann Beneditti

Aloha Benedetti was born in Petaluma March 6, 1927, and was raised in Chileno Valley, west of Petaluma, on her father's (Elmo Corda) ranch.

She peacefully passed away at her family home in Sonoma, surrounded by her loving family and friends, on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010.

She was the devoted wife to Walter Benedetti, of Sonoma, for 63 years; loving mother of Edward Benedetti, of Petaluma; Willie Benedetti, of Valley Ford; and Riley Benedetti, of Sonoma.

Adored grandmother of Arron Benedetti, of Valley Ford; and Arthur (Debbie) Benedetti, of Petaluma; and the cherished great-grandmother of Emma Jane Benedetti, of Petaluma.

She was the dear sister of the late Ramona Corda, Sally Sampietro and Jeanne Cordellos and sister-in-law of the late Violet and Jim Petersen and Alvin Benedetti. Aloha is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to a funeral liturgy on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma.
