All fire incumbents file for re-election

 

Challengers have until 5 p.m. today, Friday, Aug. 12, to file for one of three seats on the Glen Ellen Fire Protection District or one of two seats on the Schell-Vista Fire Protection District.

In Glen Ellen, incumbents William Lewis, Robert Wagner and Alexa Wood have all filed for re-election.

Robert Jackson McLean and Fred Unsworth have both filed for re-election to their seats on the Schell-Vista Fire Protection District board.

If no other candidates file by 5 p.m. today, Friday, Aug. 12, the candidates would retain their seats by default and no election would be needed in November.

Candidates may obtain and file their nomination papers with the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters, 435 Fiscal Drive, Santa Rosa. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
