Adeline Sanchez
On the clear and sunny Friday morning of Dec. 31, 2010, Adeline Sanchez passed away peacefully in the company of her husband, David Edward Sanchez, whom she shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. She was 82.
She was extremely supportive and devoted to her family, which was one of her greatest joys. She is survived by her son, Marc and daughter-in-law Sharon; her grandson Jason and wife, Jamie; granddaughter Jennifer and husband, Diego; and her great-grandsons Tomas and Liam Nieto. She leaves behind numerous extended family members and close friends, including her sister Merry Pippin, of Sunnyvale.
Adeline was born in San Francisco. She was raised by parents, Juan and Isabel Carrasco, who were Spanish immigrants. Adeline had a strong sense of pride for her Spanish heritage, which she passed onto her family. Her many loves in life included cheering on the 49ers, playing Cribbage with family and friends and traveling the world with her husband. She will always be remembered for the joy she showed in watching her family grow.
Throughout her life, Adeline always strived to provide a sense of order and structure for those around her. Her family and friends will fondly remember her keen attention to detail and loving recognition of important events. Adeline always remembered every event, ranging from daily appointments to birthdays and anniversaries for every member of her immediate family, extended family and friends.
