A purple one?

First District Supervisor Valerie Brown reaches for a backpack Tuesday as part of a backpack giveaway at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley. The backpacks were donated through a partnership of the Office Depot Foundation and the National Foundation for Women Legislators. In addition to the 130 backpacks for first and second graders she passed out at the Boys & Girls Club, Brown passed out another 50 later at the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance. The packs contained crayons, a ruler, a pencil, a pencil sharpener and an eraser.
