A helping hand

Ken Blackwood, a member of the Valley of the Moon Certified Farmers Market board, helps a zucchini racer that didn't make it to the finish in Tuesday's inaugural zucchini races. The winners included Kari Geissberger in the featherweight division; Carlos Medina in the welterweight division; Noah Bartolome in the middleweight division and Ed Cebula in the heavyweight division. Cebula also was the overall winner. Sixteen modified zucchinis were entered in the event.
