Rogue River steelhead adventure with Jim AndrasSometime last fall, I agreed to go steelhead fishing in Oregon with my friend and fishing buddy Steve Kyle. He said February was a great month, and with out thinking, I said OK. He also persuaded Les Vadasz and Jim Powers to come too. Les and Jim are such sensible guys. I don't know what possessed them … or me. |

Fishing Report, February 10, 2012While the Department of Fish and Game (DFG) has been planting lakes around our area for many years in order to enhance a local winter trout fishery, it announced this week that it will begin planting rainbow trout (triploids) in Lake Mendocino for the first time this month. |
