Exhibition explores beauty of iceLocated at CornerStone Sonoma, a New Leaf Gallery/Sculpturesite will introduce the Valley to Canadian artist Gordon Halloran, well known to world audiences as the creator of “Paintings Below Zero,” ambitious public art installations that spanned Canada, the U.S. and Europe, inspired by glacial walls. His exhibition of work will open at the gallery on Sunday, May 5, with a sculpture walk from noon to 2 p.m. that begins at the CornerStone reflection pool. It will be followed by a reception that will take place in the gallery from 2 to 4 p.m. |

Actors sought for Steve Martin showM & G Productions, a member of the Sonoma Theatre Alliance, will hold auditions for actors interested in participating in the production of Steve Martin’s comedic play “Picasso at the Lapin Agile.” The play will run from Aug. 8 to 25 in the newly renovated Andrews Hall at the Sonoma Community Center.
