Cocktail contest kicks off Sweetheart Auction

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley is kicking off its 28th annual Sweetheart Gala and Auction with a Moulin Rouge inspired art show and signature cocktail contest, the later of which is open to all.

Puppet series returns to SCC

The Sonoma Community Center announced the return of its “Puppet Playhouse” series, a collection of three family friendly puppet shows offered in partnership with award-winning performing groups.

‘Fillmore’ marks unique era in San Francisco art scene

This significant moment in history will be celebrated at the di Rosa Preserve with “Renaissance on Fillmore, 1955-65,” running through Jan. 27.

Photographer featured at Arts Guild

The Arts Guild of Sonoma’s November exhibition will feature the work of photographer Rosario Sapienza, as well as new work by guild member artists. The exhibition runs through Nov. 19 at the AGS gallery on 140 E. Napa St., in Sonoma. The public is invited to the opening reception tonight (Friday), Nov. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m.

‘Cool Hand Luke’ part of Vintage Film Series

Paul Newman’s legendary performance in “Cool Hand Luke” comes to the Sebastiani Theatre as apart of its Vintage Film Series #5. The film can be seen Monday, Nov. 12, at 7 p.m.; and Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 1 p.m.
