‘Carved’ opens at SCC

Sonoma Community Center will open the exhibiton “Carved,” a display of ceramic works created by the center’s artist-in-residence Bobby Free. The exhibit will open Friday, Dec. 7, with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. and continues through Dec. 28 in Gallery 212.

Sonoma Valley’s Vintners and Growers Alliance (SVVGA) has announced the contestants in the seventh annual Sonoma Valley Winery Gingerbread Competition, in which wineries create edible replicas of their wineries. New this year is a themed competition where wineries will base their gingerbread creations on their favorite Christmas movies.
