Festooned for the season, the home at 659 Walnut Ave. is a dazzling light show for the enjoyment of the entire community. But in addition this year, designer Michael Calvert is collecting donations for the nonprofit Butterfly Fund, which supports families with chronically sick children.

Dakaboom returns to the Kenwood Depot

For the fourth year, the eclectic Dakaboom returns to the Kenwood Depot for two nights of music and comedy. The event take place on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 27 and 28, at 8 p.m.

Season of classical music

Art card sale at SVMA

The Sonoma Valley Museum of Art is bringing back its popular holiday party and friend-raiser on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 5 p.m. During the event, more than 200 miniature works of art created by noted artists and friends of the museum will be on display.
