11 St. Francis teams reach CYO hoops playoffs

Sonoma’s St. Francis Solano’s CYO basketball program has had a successful 2013-14 season, with 11 teams in grades four-through-eight qualifying for the playoffs, with the Valley one of the playoff sites.

St. Francis will be hosting CYO playoff games on back-to-back Sundays at Sonoma Valley High School’s Pfeiffer Gym, with five Valley teams playing this Sunday, March 2, and five more contest will be held Sunday, March 9.

On Sunday, the St. Francis teams competing include the two fourth-grade boys’ squads playing at 10:15 and 11:30 a.m.; the eighth-grade girls at 2 p.m.; the sixth-grade boys at 3:15 p.m.; and the eighth-grade boys at 4:30 p.m.
